The meeting was held back-to-back with TCAC02. The two-day workshop-style meeting was essentially to educate members on rights-based management approaches and provide information on experience in other tFRMOs on the allocation of fishing opportunities plus its theory and practice. The meeting was sponsored by the Omani Government and ISSF.
