The meeting held on Paradise Island Resort was specifically to socialize the new draft skipjack harvest control and rules that were to be submitted to the 23rd Session the Commission meeting to be held later in the year in Réunion Island in May 2016.
The meeting was inaugurated by Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture Dr Mohamed Shainee
Chair of the IOTC Scientific Committee, Dr Hilario Murua, engaging with Indonesia and Malaysian delegations during an exercise session
